Lieutenant Jesus Gonzales
Lieutenant Gonzales has over 30 years of law enforcement experience. Lieutenant Gonzales began his career in law enforcement with the US Army Military Police and served a total of three years active plus one and a half years in the reserve components.
After the Army, Lieutenant Gonzales was accepted into the Texas Department of Public Safety where he served as a Highway Patrol officer and as a DPS investigator and supervisor with an accumulated total of over 23 years. Lieutenant Gonzales began working as a patrol officer for UT System Police at UT Permian Basin in 2012 and then transferred to UT Dallas Police later that year.
Lieutenant Gonzales has responsibility over the Support Services Division of the UT Dallas Police Department. The Support Services Division consists of Telecommunications (Dispatch), Lost and Found, Evidence & Property, Crime Prevention, Events Coordination, and Information Technology.
Lieutenant Gonzales enjoys working at the UT Dallas campus and he remains committed to campus safety.
