Lieutenant Jesus Gonzales
Lieutenant Gonzales has over 30 years of law enforcement experience. Lieutenant Gonzales began his career in law enforcement with the US Army Military Police and served a total of three years active plus one and a half years in the reserve components.
After the Army, Lieutenant Gonzales was accepted into the Texas Department of Public Safety where he served as a Highway Patrol officer and as a DPS investigator and supervisor with an accumulated total of over 23 years. Lieutenant Gonzales began working as a patrol officer for UT System Police at UT Permian Basin in 2012 and then transferred to UT Dallas Police later that year.
Lieutenant Gonzales has responsibility over the Patrol Division of the UT Dallas Police Department. The Patrol Division consists of both commissioned police officers and non-commissioned Public Safety Officers.
Lieutenant Gonzales enjoys working at the UT Dallas campus and he remains committed to campus safety.
